Believe it or not, we’re still in the infancy of digital marketing. Content marketing, advertising strategy, and digital storytelling all sit on top of a massive, largely untapped advantage: data. For some, data-driven marketing seems like a creativity killer–leading us down an inevitable path of numerical homogeny. They’re wrong.
I’m the Vice President of New Client Strategy at 10up, where I have the fortune of working with brands large and small to define, validate, and iterate on their digital strategies. No matter the market, and no matter the business, there’s one unifying thread between every client we touch: a mission to connect with their audiences like never before. And the key? Thoughtful, strategic, data-informed decision making.
Numbers don’t have to be complicated. With thoughtful planning and careful decision making, we can make data a painless part of our every day. My mission is to make marketing a science, while keeping it interesting, accessible, and fun.
Prior to my time at 10up, I was the principal engineer for a venture-backed Los Angeles startup, and a team member at WordPress.com VIP, an Automattic company. Along the way, I’ve served as an angel investor, a product growth consultant, startup advisor, and digital strategist. I’m a career-long remote worker, avid reader, and fanatical about all things digital.
I’m also a writer and speaker, a proud UCLA Bruin, licensed pilot, car enthusiast, weightlifter, musician, and runner.
